B) Add Users

  • Up to 4 Users can be added by the Master.
  • Users can with the mobile app or SMS:
    • turn ON/OFF power,
    • activate/deactive Home Alarm function
  • Users can also turn ON/OFF power by phone call.
  • Add and manage users in the mobile app, on the Start page, by selecting the YOYOPower Plus unit to configure, then tap DEVICE SETTINGS and then tap USERS.
  • Enter Users mobile phone number (+46…) in the table.
  • Select if the User will get notifications by tapping the YES (green) or NO (red) button.

or

  • Send the SMS command #06#UserNumber# to add a User.
  • Send the SMS command #16#1# / to allow notifications, #16#1# to block notifications.

C) Notification messages

  1. YOYOPower sends SMS notifications of various situations and activities.
  2. You can set which SMS notification messages to receive in the mobile app (page DEVICE SETTINGS > NOTIFICATIONS) and by SMS (see section 8. SMS Command List under the heading Notifications).
  3. Outlet On/Off. YOYOPower sends an SMS notification by default (cannot be turned off) to Master and Users* when an outlet is
    switched ON or OFF via the Manual button (Main Unit or Slave Unit).
  4. Message notifications that can be turned ON or OFF:
    • Power outage. YOYOPower Main Unit sends an SMS notification to Master and Users* if the AC power is lost and when it
      returns. This notification applies only to the Main Unit.
    • Power ON/OFF by thermostat. YOYOPower sends an SMS notification to Master and Users* when an outlet is
      switched ON or OFF by thermostat control (Main Unit or Slave Unit).
    • Power ON/OFF by schedule. YOYOPower sends an SMS notification to Master and Users* when an outlet is
      switched ON or OFF by schedule control (Main Unit or Slave Unit).
    • Power ON/OFF by phone call. YOYOPower sends an SMS notification to Master and Users* when an outlet is
      switched ON or OFF by tincoming phone call (Main Unit or Slave Unit).
    • Weak mobile network signal. YOYOPower Main Unit attempts to send an SMS notification to Master and Users* to warn that the mobile network signal is weak. (The signal must still be strong enough to send the SMS, so the feature cannot notify of lost network or very low strength).
    • * Notification messages to Users can be turned ON/OFF by the button ’SMS to Users ON/OFF’ at page DEVICE SETTINGS > USERS.

D) Language

  1. The language in the mobile app and in the incoming SMS messages from the Main Unit are avalable in Swedish and English.
  2. The desired language is selected at page DEVICE SETTINGS > LANGUAGE,
  3. or by sending an SMS command to the Main Unit (incoming SMS only): English #39#0#, Swedish #39#1#

E) Change registration

  1. The phone number of the Master registred in the Main Unit can be changed (new SIM card, new administrator etc.).
  2. In the mobile app page DEVICE SETTINGS > CHANGE REGISTRATION the Location, Name and/or mobile phone number can all be changed.
  3. Or, by sendng the SMS command #14#NewNumber# (new number in the format +46…) a new mobile phone number can be registred as Master.

F) Change password

  1. The Password (default 1234) set at first registration by the Masterof tshould be changed.
  2. A new password can be set at page DEVICE SETTINGS > CHANGE PASSWORD.
  3. Or, by sendng the SMS command #04#OldPassword#NewPassword# (new password 4 digits).

G) Reset (to factory default settings)

  • The Main and Slave Units can be reset to factory default settings by:.
    1. Press and hold the power button on the selected unit (for up to 20 seconds) until the status indicator
      stays on for 3 seconds.
    2. Go to page DEVICE SETTINGS > FACTORY RESET, enter the password.
    3. Send SMS command #08#Password# to the Main Unit (reset of the Main Unit only).
